Another telephone call came into the newspaper stating the where abouts of his next victim was. They found a man in his thirties that his stomach had been cut out with a note in his hand stating He had no guts to stand up for the truth. The police had some theories but no concrete proof. and wondered how many more victims would there be from this crazy nut case Richard commented on it on his Sunday editorial page.
By Tuesday they had another victim. This time it was a late twenties or early thirties year old women whose feet had been chopped off and had bleed to death. Again there was note found on her body. The note read this is my last victim and the police is still not anywhereclose to finding me and I have always been just below your noses..She wouldn't stand up and help the innocent. The detective in charge of the case had a box of evidence and started to go through it. He wasn't making any sense out of it.
He started with the last five victims because they had notes on their body that he thought were clues. One the side of their pictures he placed the notes. with the heading above them What do these bodies have in common? he wrote next to that A Big fat Nothing..One was a lawyer , a real estate agent, a book keeper, a pharmist, and a librarian. He sat there and couldn't link them by the professions so then he tried to link them by their high school and college records and yes they did attend the same high school but other than that nothing stood out..
