Jiya looked apprehensively at the huge glass building the head office of Singhania Corporation. It was a huge five storeyed building with a beautiful glass façade.
She looked at her appointment letter which stated she was to be interviewed on the third floor.
Jiya Mehra was a simple small town girl barely out of her teens. She was tall, slim and had a wheatish complexion. She was good looking but not as beautiful as her elder sister. She had taken a two year secretarial course in Jaisalmer her hometown after which she had followed her sister Myra’s footsteps and come to Gurgaon to search for some suitable job.
She was not very ambitious like her sister Myra who was in advertising and was now a manager in her company. Jiya planned to work for a year or two at the most and then get married to a suitable boy and be a good wife to him.
Nandita Ritwik singhania’s secretary was taking the interview. She was fed up of her boss’s younger step brother who seemed to need a secretary every month. If the secretary was beautiful and shrewd she would end up in his bed or if she was naïve he would scare her to death.
When Jiya entered Nandita looked at her and smiled. Now she had got the ideal candidate. This girl was quite young , wearing a light blue salwar kameez with dupatta. She was beautiful but demure and she seemed to be quite the innocent so she might just fit the bill. She was exactly the opposite of what Sagar would want in his secretary.
