Dantalion of the Goetia: Taste the Obsession of a Demon - Page 3/108

"God's universal providence works through secondary causes…. The world of pure spirits stretches between the Divine nature and the world of human beings; because Divine Wisdom has ordained that the higher should look after the lower, Angels execute the Divine plan for human salvation: they are our Guardians, who free us when hindered and help bring us home."

- St. Thomas Aquinas

THE QUEST

Conspire;

Begin now;

Lifetimes amidst

Flashing desires.

Scenes dart between illuminations of anguish;

Where is your shelter?

I sob row upon row,

Licentious and of fire.

Reward me enlightenment,

Uncontrolled and biting as the blade,

What shall I fill in this space when I tire?

Over the dusty miles of unfound treasures

There is but one haven

Where the craft is not the quest;

Nor is the valor which accompanies it,

Delicate meadows feed places untouched

As if to offer solace among its uninvited guests.

Has anyone ever seen the boy who hovers in the chasms?

Chameleon to the night;

He is crafty and of caliber,

Grasping daggers around my bleeding heart,

Guarding fires I ignite.

Fools; we are all entwined,

Disquieted in our own right,

It is the hour;

Branded moon knows of slumber.

I chisel sun-bathed gods of flesh,

Masters in the art of intrigue,

Evading secrets splashed within thunder.

Conspire;

Begin now;

Lifetimes amidst

Flashing desires.
