Dantalion of the Goetia: Taste the Obsession of a Demon - Page 90/108

"Behold, Dantalion! She no longer belongs to you. She is mine and I hold her here at my will, to do whatever my desire so wishes, in my infernal kingdom. She will be re-created once again with a new soul, for the purpose of servitude, answering only to my desires, a lust that can never be met," Satan chanted amused. "Here lies not the kingdom of a lesser God, but of something greater, unrepentant, unyielding, to the sins of mankind. Demon of the Goetia, bow to your new Demonic Lord. Pay allegiance to my powers now and forever!"

Dantalion looked upon his thirty six legions of demons, silent and defeated. They desperately searched his expression for a command or a counter attack. Rowan knew, even with all the demonic powers combined, they had failed to save my life.

"My Lord, we thought once thy shape shifted within Satan, thee were lost forever. He tore his own flesh to rid thee," Druitte muttered.

"Thy saw nothing but death when he thrust me out from the circle, removed from his poisonous, pathetic flesh, thy could only think but one thought… this was but the hatred of once the purest of souls," Dantalion told his armies.

"We know you came close to saving her, your powers were difficult for him to diminish," Rowan confided.

"Our attempts against him have failed," Druitte replied.

"My powers were not strong enough. I thought, together, there would be a chance," Dantalion's voice faded.

"Do you think she hears us?" Rowan asked Dantalion. "Our thoughts. Will she know when we speak to her?"

"I believeth she hears us, her clairvoyance will keep her close," Dantalion replied.

Remembering what Dantalion told them earlier about sacrificing his soul, Rowan and Count Druitte waited. Dantalion told them their allegiance would remain with him, yet they could see there was still more pain Satan wished to inflict on him. Not only did Satan sink the dagger deep into Lilith's heart, but he wished to bring forth my re-created body to be used as his slave.

"We cannot bear to think what Satan will do to her!" Rowan told Dantalion.

"My Lord, we cannot let him use the girl for his cruel intentions. He hath no desire that can ever be met. He will use her body for lust to smite you," Druitte replied.

Dantalion knew what he had to do. His eyes met theirs, and they felt a great loss for my soul. Dantalion knew it was useless to defy the powers of Satan.
