Dantalion of the Goetia: The Summoning - Page 46/67

Driving rain continued to fall as Dantalion knelt down before the North gate, commanding fire and allowing them re-entry back into the Realm of Goetia.

"What do you mean, what is to come?" What have we done?" Rowan pleaded as he shook off the rain inside the gate.

"The summoning would never have happened once they failed the trials we planned to set before them. But NOW…. Laurel possesses half-demon and full fledged demon blood thanks to you. Together, with the brands poisoning her, she has unharnessed ability to feed off her emotions…. Rage, lust…. Turning them into dangerous powers over both angels and demons alike."

Dantalion reached toward the medallion around Rowan's neck. "I'll take this back now," flashing his canines. "Time for a reunion with the 'Succubus'"

The demons turned down the stone hall in the opposite direction of Dantalion's chamber.

"Why are we going this way?" Rowan asked.

Dantalion gripped the medallion in his claws, gesturing for him to follow. When they came to the Fourth house, Belial's chamber was cold and dormant.

"This is where we will lead the legions to the first heaven," Dantalion explained.

"But why here, at Belial's chamber? What about the Courtyard?"

"No. We will summon the 'Succubus' here and lead the legions to Belial's Northern Realm to seek the Angel of Death. Together we will persuade them to take out Satan."

Rowan nodded in agreement. "Nice plan. I've got one question though. Are you the new master in command, cuz it's getting on my nerves!" Dantalion's eyes glowed in the dark chamber. "Only temporarily. This is my last intervention… trust me."

Rowan followed Dantalion out of Belial's chamber, back down the hall toward the First house.

"Who are we taking with us?"

"The girls stay here with Vine, Halphas, Druitte and Sitri. They're mortal, remember?" Dantalion smirked.

"Yea, that reminds me. What's with Sitri. Ya know he bears an identical resemblance to you. Are you like brothers or something?" Rowan glared at Dantalion.

"Of course all demons of the Goetia are brothers," Dantalion smiled. "It has a little something to do with alchemy, you know… the elixir of perpetual youth. Or destiny. You never know. It could be a part of the angelic plan," Dantalion shrugged off the question.

"You're not gonna tell me are you?" Rowan prodded.

Before he could argue, Dantalion had already entered his chamber. Levi greeting them at the door.
