Adithya then asked her,” So then like whom will you wish for?”
Maya got excited by hearing this question from her dad as she thought that he will protest against her thought but seeing his curiosity she thought that he must have got convinced with her views. On the other side Varun was also eager to know the answer to this question.
Maya replied, “Well I wish to marry someone like Lord Shiva.”
“Why him?”
“He always had only one woman in his life and it was Lord Shakti. He is the one who had always given equal rights to his wife. Don’t you remember the saying “There is no Shiva without a Shakti and vice versa. Mom has told me in childhood that he was the one who gave Ardhangini (equal half) status to wife and most importantly he didn’t give up on her and stood beside her always. So isn’t it good for me to seek someone like him?”
“Well okay. Then let me also pray the same for you here afterwards.”
Varun thought to himself, “She is different for sure but I am confused. She seems to be right but also I am not sure whether she is right or wrong. I came to temple to decide but now my head is like a road covered with snow and longing for sunrays to fall on it.”
