Logan and Uncle Del thought it might be their best opportunity, but they both cautioned him that it would be dangerous. Logan saw danger in the form of the men dealing drugs and Uncle Del saw the danger in logging the old way. They were both right, of course, but to Barrett's way of thinking, it was worth the risk. At least he had the experience to know how dangerous it could become. As the old saying went, when you fell off a horse, you got back up on it and rode. He was ready to ride again.
