He gazed at me as he took the napkin. "I take back what I just said." I blushed as his fingers brushed against mine.
I continued laughing. "You did say: 'Do I need to know anything'? I hope I was able to help you out."
He gave me a half smile and cleared his throat. "You did; besides the cream cheese is there anything else I need to know?"
"Well, James is a good director but he hates it when you're late. So, don't follow my example."
"Thanks for the tip."
I brushed my hair out of my eyes. "No problem. We'd better go, he's already not happy with me and I haven't even done any work yet." I sipped the coffee, which was still hot. I then crumpled up the wrapper, got up and threw it away in a nearby garbage can.
"Well, if he asks it was my fault." He threw his trash away.
I smiled; I was doing a lot of that. "No, that's okay but thanks."
"No problem and thank you." He picked up his coffee.
"If you need any help just let me know."
He nodded and lightly touched my arm. He then grinned at me and we went back to our stations.
