"Scared? Don't worry I'm not going to eat you." He said opening and holding the door for her. Cautiously Mia entered his condo. She was surprised that it was relatively clean and furnished for a bachelor's pad.
"Surprised huh? It's not what you expected eh?"
"Whatever…" She said attempting not to care or show that she noticed. Jayden smiled at the prideful woman.
"Have a seat and I'll see if I can find you something dry to wear…" He quickly went upstairs and she could hear him rumbling around. His place was nice. She would have expected that it would have been the proverbial bachelor's pad with everything in red, strobe lighting fixtures hanging from the ceiling and a heart-shaped waterbed in the middle of his living room floor.
"Here… you can change in the bathroom… upstairs to your left" he told her as he made his reentry from upstairs.
"Thanks" she said taking the tee-shirt and plaid stripped lounging pants.
"They have a drawstring you can pull tight" he explained to her knowing that his clothes were going to be too big.
"Kay…" she said as she made her way upstairs. His house was decorated in strong masculine colors of wood and earth tones that Mia found to her liking. There were pictures of African descent and the African-American living experiences living in America. She had to admit she was impressed to see signs of deep thoughts.
"He's not a complete moron" she mumbled to herself once inside his extra large spacious bath. She had to admit that she was awed with his Jacuzzi and slightly envious of wanting to run herself some warm water and sit under the relaxing warm circulating jet streams of the pressurized water. Would he notice that she was missing? Temptation proving too hard to resist, Mia against better judgment plugged up the tub and turned on the waters allowing the water to flow. She looked over to the control panel and set the settings to her own taste. She then began looking around to see what he had in the line of soaps and bathe oil.
"Hmm, what's this?" She was pleasantly surprised to see that he didn't use regular store bought name brand soaps, but rather organic and naturally made soaps and bathe oils.
"Hmm, so many choices and so little time." She muttered to herself as she quietly but quickly scanned the choices that she had.
"Raw Shea Butter, Coconut and Papaya with Vanilla Beans, African Black soap, Butter Soap Mango Shea and Cocoa Butter, Black Seed, Carrot and Pomegranate, Lemongrass and Tee Tree, Goat's Milk and Chai… geez this has got to be expensive" She mumbled as she decided to try the Carrot and Pomegranate soap after taking a whiff of it. All of the soaps smelled nice but she thought that the Carrot and Pomegranate smelled the most feminine. She would have to remember to go online and look for this particular brand name and give the other ones a try.
