"Thanks sir and enjoy your day." Jayden called out to the departing man and his son.

Check…" Jayden said as they finished putting up their leftover supplies in the refrigerator.
"Let's get these coolers emptied and cleaned. We've gotta catch that fifty-two bus over to the supermarket. Gotta restock for the evening rush."
"What time is it?" Avery asked as they wheeled the coolers out onto the back patio and dumped the melted ice.
"It's barely ten… Why?" Jayden asked as he grabbed the scrub brush and liquid soap.
"Just wondered if we were going to have some time to shoot some hoops… that's all…"
"I don't know man… I didn't think selling juice and water would be this much work." Jayden responded as the two of them washed the three coolers and then rinsed them out.
"What time does the evening commute start?"
"We need to leave at least by two-thirty… You know we don't have that ride in the evening… Mom is at work."
"C'mon, let's hurry then."
Jayden and scurrying down the street running the mile and a half to catch the only suburban bus that ran down Wood St.
"Hey man you're in a hurry?" Avery asked as he had to jog to keep pace with Jayden.
"Man this ain't the city… Buses don't run every ten minutes." Jayden explained to his friend who wasn't used to the public bus system in the neighborhood. Avery had moved from Chicago three years ago out into the south suburb of Markham. He was accustomed to the city's expansive and frequently routed busing services. However out here the buses ran from every thirty minutes to an hour depending on the frequency of use in a particular area. Where they lived, the number 52 bus ran every hour. Therefore Jayden knew that if they missed this bus, they would have to walk the other two miles to the grocery store. If that happens then playing basketball would be out of the question for today.
