She hurried back to her own shop, and started making frantic phone calls, all she said to her girls is my credit card seems to have been stolen, they all made comments softly as they saw she was on the phone and clearly upset.
When she had completed that task, and had been assured that a new credit card would be issued to her post haste and the matter would be properly investigated, because as it seemed many charges were being made to her card that was now being cancelled.
She finally had a few minutes to think and then it dawned on her the feeling she had gotten upon arriving home Saturday night, and remembering that she had left her wallet at home, after all it was a date, and the guy drives and the guys pays, right? "Oh Boy!" she thought.
That evening Gloria was home and she booted up her computer, she found Chad in a chat room and they began to have a chat she told him what had happened, about her credit card, and also the feeling she had when she arrived home Saturday night, they did not know that Cameron was checking out this chat room at that time.
Cameron was very pleased to get this information indirectly, from Gloria, because he was hot on the trail of this guy, who he believed was having a good time with other people’s credit cards. And he was determined to get him before it got totally out of control, or possibly his situation was elevated to a more serious crime.
This guy was already into fraud, breaking and entering and possible misdemeanor if he's the one that slashed Candee's tires. Cam didn't see the name or buddy name, he had been using but that's not to say he hasn't changed it.
Gloria and Chad then moved onto other subjects, like upcoming derby's for him some out of town, and she told him about a hairdresser's convention that she had coming up in June; it would take place in Atlantic City, and should be fun at times.
They talked about possibly seeing each other at some point during the coming weekend. She told him about her girls in her shop and how they all teased her about dating a celebrity, he typed, Yeah, I only wish . . LOL (laughing out loud)
They chatted awhile longer and then decided to get off, she said, "she had a few things to do before going to bed," and he said, "yeah me too" and they both logged off. Cameron did not; he had many more chat rooms to check out.
