Gloria sat down at the table, all the while talking to her cat and telling him all about her great date, and their plans to take salsa lessons, the cat just looked at her blinking every now and then as if he was taking in every word .
She finished her hot chocolate, then went in to get ready for bed she set her alarm even though it was Sunday, she wanted to check the newspaper for adds about dance classes, she was sure she'd find something in the big Sunday paper.
Chad was on his way home, thinking about his date and how well it had gone, Gloria was a knockout, and he was feeling very fortunate for having met her on line, and as fate would have it meeting her face to face in the hospital. He was not about to rush things with her but he was also not about to let her slip away.
He thought, I'll give her a call tomorrow see if she's located a place for us to take those dance classes, what a good idea she had there, anything to spend more time together, I'm all for it, he thought and laughed.
Chad turned into his driveway then, and quietly let himself in, the dog greeted him at the door, she licked his hand, and he patted her and said hey, girl let's go to bed its late, as he went to his room and she followed along behind him. He realized as he was getting undressed that he was softly telling sandy all about his date and Gloria his angel, he told sandy, I'll have to bring her by one day to meet you, and sandy woofed ever so softly at that. Chad said, "Okay, girl I promise soon."
The alarm went off at eight, Gloria got up shrugged into her robe and slid into her slippers, gave Smokey a morning rub, as he was curled up on her bed, he opened one eye, as if to say don't bother me it's too early, and went back to sleep. Gloria made her way to the front door to retrieve her newspaper, tossed it on her favorite chair by the window, and went to make a cup of tea, when she had her tea, she grabbed a few cookies from her large cat cookie jar, and flopped in her chair, opened the paper to the adds first to pour over them in hopes of finding dance classes somewhere in the general vicinity.
She finally did find one, it was located in a shopping center not very far from her place it was a small dance club, and they had classes for Latin American dances, so she wrote the phone number down and would give them a call during the week, to make sure the salsa was one of the dances they taught.
