"You heard it on the news, did the news say that a young pretty motel maid was blown away or that others were caught in the crossfire of this insane game of yours."
"Stryker, it's not my game. I was only informed of it a few months ago when posts of it hit the Internet. Before that I never heard of Fat Daddy."
"Alright, tell me what you do know about him and Kill Fest?"
"A few months ago, I and others in the computer world acquired some information about a contest for hit men. A competition for professional killers who could challenge their skills and win a tremendous amount of money for doing so. Like I said before, a list of such people was drawn up. Most of the U.S. government contractors were out of play, they still worked for the CIA and other government factions. Fat Daddy needed freelancers, hired guns working for themselves, mob hit men, gang bangers and anyone else who had no problem with murdering for capital was looked up."
"Go on," Stryker commended as Aurora stood nearby.
"You have to remember that even though we think that our private lives are ours, not so today. Everything we are and do is sitting on the Internet for anyone to look up. Sure some shit is off limits…..well we think they are, but in the hands of a well skilled hacker…..shit, anything can be discovered. If I wanted to, I could find out where your partner not only went to high school but who she dated, took to the high school prom and lost her virginity to."
"Ah, that would be Miami Senior High, prom with Tommy Skidder and virginity to his twin sister Tammy," Aurora called out as she turned and give a little wink to Amber when she spoke of the last event.
"Yeah, thanks for the tidbit," Stryker commented before returning his attention on the hacker. "Go on kid, tell me what you know."
"Fat Daddy did a search of possible contestants for his little game of death and came up with 6 killers, each with nothing to lose," Pete paused for a moment. "You were not part of his original plan," the young man said with a bewildering look over his face. "There was another before you; ah I see…..you were brought in. The CIA did catch wind of this thing after all. But you Stryker, you're the one who scored Jason Bear. You killed that kid and unlike Xena over there, are still working under the shield of a government agency," he said turning up a slight grin. "You murdered that boy in the name of this game didn't you….or was it more like protecting your girlfriend over there?"
