"Wait, don't go. I will tell you." Bill said. Holding her hands in his.
"First, promise me. You won't leave me after I tell you" Bill asked
"Of course not." Linda laughed, amused. "I just took my vow. And I am a woman of my words. You can always trust me Bill." She said with a smile, sad that she'd put him in this position, but happy that she'd surprised herself with this character. She had thought she'd lost it since the day Jonathan had broken her heart. But she was back. Alive now, she was in love with a man and she was not going to lose him in any way. Bill was hers.
"It was six years ago when I met Bradley." Bill started. "I was young and broken at the time. I have spent a long time without dating any one."
Linda's eyes bulged when she had dating. She was absorbing shock. This man, she could see through him now. She shifted uncomfortably, realizing the direction he was taking.
"I am sorry." Bill mumbled on realizing her discomfort. But he had to continue. He had to get it out of the way.
"I and Bradley have known each other for years. I. sorry, he and I just, we fell in love…" Bill said
"You fell in love. You fell in love with that man Bill. I saw. Oh, God, it makes sense now. He just called at the club and you didn't answer. I saw it in your eyes. I knew you were hiding something you silly man. So now you're cheating on him with me. Gosh how disgusting I feel now. You make love to me now, then you fuck him tomorrow. I'm your side dish now. God I am so silly. I should have seen that first time round." Linda mumbled. Shifting uneasily. She wanted to throw up and run away from here.
"Baby, that was then I swear. It's not now. I was young and stupid and broken. I thought I wanted him. Now I know I don't. Hear me please." Bill said, apologetically
"God you're disgusting Bill. You mixed me up with your men? I want to, I want..." Linda said. Bill noticed, quickly grabbing a rubber bag from the back seat.
"Here," He said. Placing the bag in front of Linda and she immediately filled it with vomit.
"I am so sorry." Bill kept saying repeatedly. When she was done, he cleaned her with the small towel he had pulled from the back seat.
"Baby I'm sorry" He mentioned only to get a gesture of silence from Linda.
"Take me home.'
