Chapter 639: A Young Attendant

Two hours later, Lu Li had collected 300 pieces of cloth. After stealing enough, he decided to leave as he didn't want to deal with these Blood Elves anymore.
"You're a really good Elf."
Elize was pleasantly surprised as she took the stack of cloth from Lu Li. There weren't any stains on the cloth; the Master Tailor could see that from a glance.
As for the scuff marks that were left behind in the morning, they had already been fixed when the equipment was repaired.
"Before we undergo the trials of life, we must first respect life," Lu Li said modestly. Who knew where he got the courage to say something like that? Ever since he entered the game, he had killed countless monsters. He was hardly a poor and innocent creature in this situation.
Just this morning, he had killed thousands of monsters to farm. They were low-level monsters that didn't even have the strength to fight back.
"Well, I'm glad you've said that. Thank you so much for bringing me all this cloth; it'll be enough for me for some time," Elize said as she traced her finger over the cloth with great affection.
"It was my pleasure to help. If you need help with anything else, just ask," Lu Li offered generously.
"Please, give me another quest; I've already given you so much. If you don't continue the quests, I'm actually going to die," he internally cried.
"Really?" Elize looked at Lu Li with some hesitation.
"Yes, its fine," Lu Li nodded stubbornly, then took the initiative to say, "It will take some time for you to repair this cloak and I'm so bored that I'm about to go crazy. It would be very good if there was something for me to do…"
If anyone else was here to witness this, they definitely would have pay him out for his pretense.
"I can understand how you feel," Elize replied. "When it comes to preparing gifts for a loved one, there will always be some anxiety."
"This NPC could go and write a book," Lu Li thought as he nodded.
"How about this – there's not much to do here, but my sister who lives on Blood Island wrote to me a few days ago complaining about something. If you're willing, can you go and help her?' Elize asked.
"Of course, but I will need an introductory letter from you. The elves always get a look in this country," Lu Li said with anticipation.
"Please wait a moment."
Elize picked up an old piece of fabric and handed it to Lu Li after embroidering it. There were a few crooked words written on it that were irregular, yet beautiful, like abstract medieval paintings. Lu Li took the piece of fabric and clutched it in his hands.
The system then prompted him that he had received a quest, which was to go to the secret Blood Island to find Scout Jorli.
After leaving, Lu Li made his way to Exodar's Teleportation Channel and was transported to Blood Island.
Blood Island was the second major island in the Myrtle Islands and was located to the north of Myrtle. The main island was usually the next destination in an aspiring young Draenei's journey.
When the first Draenei landed, it was called Silver Wind Island and was as beautiful as Blue Island. However, it was polluted by the Exodar, the Draenei Ship, which caused red crystals to cover the land and a red fog to stretch across the sky. That was why the island was renamed.
The Draenei set up outposts at the center of the island in the hopes of finding a way to revitalize it.
Lu Li left the main camp and headed straight for the outpost.
Soon after, he found a little Draenei girl kicking some rocks around. She had a cute forehead and small hoofs. (Draenei didn't have feet; they had hoofs instead)
The little girl looked like a teenager and was a loli by human or Draenei standards. She was a fighter Draenei, so she had left the Exodar to train.
As her hoofs tapped around, she appeared absentminded and very unprofessional. It was good that this was a safe inner area – otherwise, she might have fallen off.
It was hard to imagine that such a small Draenei girl would later become the High Legion commander of the Draenei people who were stationed abroad.
"Hello," Lu Li said as he stopped eight yards away and hailed the inattentive patrolling scout.
"Wah," the little Draenei girl cried out and stared blankly at him with her eyes wide, as if she was shocked. If Lu Li was an enemy, he could have just walked up and killed her.
"I'm a Night Elf from Danassus," Lu Li said as he quickly pulled out the cloth that Elize had given him. "I was sent by Master Elize to solve your problems."
It was best not to underestimate this little Draenei. Even though she was small, if an actual fight broke out, the sentry could call out a large group of troops to destroy him.
"Oh, you were sent by my sister," Jorli said as she tilted her head and looked at Lu Li, forgiving him for her scare. She took the cloth brought by Lu Li and began to give him the quest.
"There are spiders in the eastern canyon of the Blood Island which give us Shadow Spider Silk. My sister needs that for her work, so I gather some with an older Sentry every week. However, a group of poachers have recently come here and have slaughtered the spiders, completely ignoring the long term impact their actions might have. The first task I will give you is simple: find them… and end them."
She was quite aggressive, which was completely different to her sister. No wonder one took the Trade Skills path while the other embarked on a road to battle.
"As for your quest reward,' Draenei said as she flipped out her pockets and coughed sheepishly, "You should just ask for it from my sister."
It was quite exciting for to give out a quest for the first time.
"You'll definitely be happy with me work," Lu Li said with determination. After some formalities, he turned to leave, but it seemed like something was following him.
"Wait for me, I'll come with you. I can fight too," Jorli offered as she took out a small hammer. Clearly, she was eager to tag along.
Lu Li wasn't sure if he should slow down or use Gale Steps. This was a bit of a headache for him as it was originally a very simple quest. All he needed to do was kill some poachers, which were level 20-30 monsters. These monsters would barely even be an obstacle for him.
However, he also needed to take care of Jorli.
If she died, then Lu Li's quest would end, but although this NPC could die, she would also respawn after a certain period.
"I will one day become a great Draenei Paladin. The light will shine on us," the little loli said resolutely as she grabbed onto Lu Li's clothing.
Lu Li was a Thief and was destined to walk in the shadows. Why would he want any part of the Holy Light?
After she grabbed onto him, Lu Li reluctantly agreed to the new conditions of the quest. The protection of Jorli was now just another part of the task he needed to complete.
