Chapter 783: Jammal’an

Lu Li had been transformed by the boss?
Azure Sea Breeze was laughing about it at first; it was rare for the others to see their boss in such a state.
Lu Li was transformed into a dark, purple Troll – a massive one.
He returned and slapped Jaweika, who was a fragile Dark Priest. Jaweika had just been attacked by the Boss with a Flamestrike and Machine Bro hadn't healed him yet. This slap ended him.
Everyone stared in disbelief, then began to run away while screaming.
Lu Li could only watch; there was obviously nothing he could do.
Thankfully, while his damage had increased, his movement speed decreased.
Otherwise, no one would be able to escape from Lu Li with his speed. This status only lasted for fifteen seconds, so as long as they ran away from him, they would be fine.
"Now you know why I ran," Lu Li said as he transformed back to himself and continued attacking the Boss.
"Is it because you're a god-tier player that you still do insane damage after you become a monster?" Nuo Yu was extremely impressed. He was standing beside Jaweika before and would have died if he ran any slower.
"Everyone, be careful later. Once the boss shouts, join us. Check if you have a mark on your head. If you have a mark, boost your movement speed and run away as far as you can," Lu Li instructed as he revived Jaweika, who had fallen to the ground.
The reason for this was so that they could waste more transformation time as they returned.
Some of the few hard aspects of fighting Jammal'an were the transformation, and that you couldn't kill Ogom first.
After overcoming this, the rest of fight would be relatively easy.
The total time of the battle was around twenty minutes. The experience reward was great; it exceeded all of the six previous bosses combined.
"I got a skill point!" Kitty Likes Meat cried out. She was so excited that her cheeks flushed red.
She rarely did dungeons, so it was rare for her to experience something like this. Hachi Chan and the others on the other hand looked quite calm.
"Dreamy, it's up to you now," Lu Li said as he looked over to Remnant Dream. There were only three real Bosses in this dungeon; the other ones didn't really drop anything.
Remnant Dream began to search Jammal'an and pulled out an equip on her first go.
Gloves of the Atal'ai Prophet - a Silver grade equip. Everyone was disappointed; was this Boss only going to drop a Silver grade?
"A set!" Nuo Yu exclaimed after he read the description – 'Part of the Atal'ai Prophet Set'.
If this was just a Silver grade equip, it wouldn't be anything special.
However, since it was part of a set, there was no way that it could be trash.
Although Jammal'an the Prophet used a wide variety of Shaman skills, the set was actually for Mages. However, Dark Priests, Mages and Warlocks could all equip it.
With two pieces, the first special effect would be activated – Magic damage increased by 20%, Casting speed increased by 50%, lasts for 8 seconds
This was a similar to the Berserk effect for melee classes. As long as you had spells with a short cast time, you would be able to instantly release a barrage of them in an instant. No one would be able to handle that kind of firepower.
Just this effect alone was enough to make this set valuable.
In fact, most players who chose to wear this set would use wear two pieces from it. The second special effect of the set wasn't very popular – it was Flamestrike Skill +1, so only Fire Mages would consider trying to complete it.
The distribution of this item became an issue, as this was a short term team that couldn't use points to decide.
If they were able to lay their hands on a second piece, this equipment would become too good. Perhaps no one would even swap two of this set for two average Gold grade equips. Lu Li saw that no one was willing to give up, so he suggested an auction.
"The bottom price is one gold coin. You're only allowed to call your price once, counting down from now. 5, 4, 3..."
He didn't want to make this a real auction because they all knew each other and it wouldn't be good for their relationships to fight over an item like this. As such, he set a rule, stipulating that everyone could only call out their price once. Whoever had the highest price could take it without everyone fighting over it.
"Kitty Likes Meat, 180 gold coins. Jaweika, 65 gold coins. Nuo You, 80 gold coins. Uhm, it's Kitty's," Lu Li said as he shook his head.
It seemed like Kitty Likes Meat was determined to get this item. Perhaps it was because she had never done a dungeon and purchased most of her equipment from the auction. The prices in the auction hall were all rather exorbitant.
In a guild team like this, no one would really offer a high price.
Kitty Likes Meat didn't think that this was expensive at all. Just like how Lu Li had guessed, most of her equipment had been purchased from the Black Market or the Auction Hall. The cheaper items were instantly purchased by others and those that remained were usually overpriced.
She gave everyone 20 gold coins each.
Twenty gold coins wasn't a small sum; this was beyond the income of any average player.
The second item was a rare material that Lu Li took. He gave everyone some points from his own guild points; this was much more popular than gold coins. Many tempting equips and items in the guild warehouse couldn't be purchased with gold coins.
The third item was the Head of Jammal'an. This was a quest item, so anyone who was completing the quest could pick it up.
After they had looted the boss, everyone was about to leave, but Lu LI pointed at the body of Ogom that was left in the corner and said, "Dreamy, go and search this monster. You might find a surprise."
This was when everyone remembered that Ogom was also a part of the fight.
You couldn't really blame them – these side monsters usually didn't drop anything. Not to mention, it was only an elite monster, so they weren't expecting anything.
"Blade of the Wretched – it's a Gold weapon!" Remnant Dream's voice was filled with surprise.
"Show us the attributes," Lu Li said calmly.
The Blade of the Wretched was set to be Gold grade, no matter what level dungeon they did. However, the Attributes weren't fixed, so there was nothing to be excited about, even if it was Gold grade.
Surprisingly, the Attributes for this blade were quite decent.
Besides a high Critical Strike chance, it also came with a Corruption effect. This effect caused the target to continuously lose health and decreased their Defense by a certain amount. This was a god-tier equipment for PVP.
"*****, a magic sword," Azure Sea Breeze cursed.
A magic sword would have to be equipped with an off-hand item like a Spell Book.
