Abby asked the couple if they would sale the picture to her on the spot. The new owner looked on line and saw what his paintings was going for so Abby's offer of five hundred was fairly accurate . Abby walked away with her painting. The real estate agent had her partner carry it out to the tour bus.when they got back to the office he even put it in Abby's car .Abby spent the night in town and then drove to the wildlife refudge the next morning. She had another park ranger drive her to her house by the lake where there was a canoe and was told that her car wouldn't make it through the rough wilderness so she needed to park it in the parking lot across the lake from the house where she would be living. He asked her if she knew how to row a canoe if not there was a trolling motor that could be used.
He offered to drive her car to the parking lot and put the key under her seat for her. She was glad to have someone to assist her. She remembered she had the painting, her clothing, and a few groceries in the car so she took him up on his offer and canoed over to meet him and he helped her to load the canoe and she locked her car and canoed back across the lake. She took in the groceries first and sat them on the table.
