Finally, Maria came in first. She was huffing from the exhaustion and trouble.

Corina was right on her trail and dragged Alina by the arm.

“Here she is, you lucky bastard.”

The three men held their breaths so hard they looked like they had forgotten how to breathe.

Now that the girls had cleaned her up and she was dressed in a new red tunic, Alina looked nothing like the dirty girl Cotiso remembered picking up off the road.

She was royally stunning. It almost felt like a dream. Her youthful body screamed with femininity; her white skin was so flawless it almost shone like a pearl before the campfire’s flames, and her once-tainted face beyond recognition turned out to be so beautiful, it rivaled the goddesses.

It took Cotiso a while to find his voice. He leaned toward Tati and whispered, “Your slave just called me a bastard.”

“Yes! And I believe everyone in this tent agrees,” Tati barked, mad with jealousy.

Cotiso hummed and adjusted his sitting position. “Well, girls, don’t just stand there! Come sit by the fire, get some warmth.”

“Come on, shy girl. Sit over there by your Master,” Corina said.

She surprised Alina with a spank on the hip that made Alina hop to her toes before she strolled back, chuckling, and took her place next to Tati.
