Quickly jumping out of the bath still covered in bubbles, she draped the huge bath towel around her, slid into her slippers and grabbed the phone that lay next to her bed on the night table.

“Hello.” She answered not recognizing the name of the phone.

“Hi!” A male voice greeted her on the other end. “Sandy, do you know who this is?”

“Yes, of course I know. How are you Dave?” Speaking with her hands shaking and her heart racing she sat down on the edge of her bed just to stop her wobbling legs from collapsing from under her.

“I am great. Thank you.” He said, as he sat in his office working away on his computer. “How are you?”

“I am great as well.” She was speechless, shocked and nervous all at once but stumbled on “Wow, I was not expecting this phone call from you, not until tomorrow.”

“Well, I got home and reached in my pocket to take something out and out popped your card. I was thinking about you as it was and more so when I saw your card so here I am picking up the phone, wondering, should I, or shouldn’t I.” Oh my God, he was thinking why he said all of what he was thinking, to her, when he should have just kept it to himself. Oh well, he said it and now he is nervous of what she is going to think.
