“That’s terrible.” She said still listening.
“It’s ok. I still get to see my kids and now I am back into singing. I am waiting to hear back from the recording studio to see if they will do a record for me.”
“How long have you been waiting now?”
“Not long actually, just a few weeks.” He said. “I owe it all to my ex wife though, if she didn’t have to get me to work at home, I wouldn’t have had the time to do all that I have done with it so far.”
“Well, that’s great.” She said kind of a little jealous of his wife, not sure why though.
“We are almost there.” He said pointing to their destination.
As they neared, his music was still playing and they listened without talking during the rest of the drive.
Listening, she couldn’t believe how good he was. She was blessed to have a friend who is so talented. She wondered if he played the guitar too. She found out that he is playing and singing all of these songs himself.
