Lynn listened intensily without speaking until Sandras last sip. " Would you like more wine?"
"Yes please and thank you." Sandra said relaxing a little more and unsure if she should be telling Lynn everything but it was nice to be able to confide in someone after all this time. Who knows she might gain and trusting friend after this.
Lynn worked with the company for over five years and was assigned to show Sandra around and show her the ropes. Doing so they became a little more than work mates with an occasional hi here and there. Every now and they they would strike up a little conversation but never met outside of work. A couple of times Lynn has asked her to go out for a ladies night but with Sandra the way she was she always said no.
"Lynn thank you for coming here tonight. I do feel better already." Sandra said while Lynn was pouring more wine.
Sitting down and handing Sandra her wine Lynn asked her to continue but not before asking "Did he try kissing you up to this point?"
"No, he didn't. He was so gentle and caring and all I thought was that he was going to hurt me. In a way I wish he had kissed me but now knowing what I know I am so glad he didn't." She admitted turning her head away from Lynn.
