"I can't. I will grab a cab. I don't live too far from work, I can walk there in the morning and after work come to pick up the car."
"I can drive you back here after work tomorrow to get it if you want." Sandra suggested.
"I thought you were going to take the day off tomorrow." Lynn reminded her.
"No, I should be ok. If it is bad in the morning, I will think about it."
"Ok, sounds like a plan then. I best be going then." Lynn said grabbing her phone out of her purse.
"Thanks for coming tonight. I really needed someone to talk with."
"No problem. It was my pleasure." Lynn said "Is there anything I can help you with before I go?"
"No, I will be fine. Thank you."
Lynn called a cab leaving Sandra to mull through everything that was said rethinking her thoughts and calming down emotionally excited now to hear from him more than ever. Leaving the wine glasses on the coffee table she hobbled to the washroom, brushed her teeth and washed up then made her way to the bedroom. After getting dressed for bed, she contiplated reading but the wine and pain pills along with warm thoughts of the good parts of the weekend, she drifted off rather quickly not waking til the alarm woke her in the morning.
