Within days John and Joan had all of the house done except for the second and third floor's windows and that could wait till they had more money. They had a roofing company come out and inspected the roofing and it needed a new roof so they spent their savings to get a metal roof put on. John had put out a sidewalk sign that his law firm was now open. His first client was a pro bono case presenting his wife's case that her company had been sabatoga due to him testifying against the illegal dealings of the Harding Law Firm in their old county.
