At first it was a whitish gray then cleared up to be white. legend is if that you could tell what the inside a person's heart was like when they were alive by the color of the smoke at their burial ritual. Then they spread some of his ashes around his favorite hunting tree so his spirit could continue to hunt and give his kinship good luck while hunting. Then some more at his favorite fishing spot to do the same thing. Then is his field by the house then Angeni buried the rest of his ashes in the urn by the back door of the house.to keep any evil doers from harming his family
