Marked for death - Page 1/4

Anyone who saw him would assume he was just a regular guy. Out on a beautiful night taking a walk to clear his mind. And it was indeed a beautiful night, an ideal night for exactly what he had in mind.

He was a predator tracking his prey. From what he could surmise she was unaware of his presence. The Slitter(that is what the press dubbed him) had kept his distance well. He knew the route, knew exactly where the prey would end up.

The lady ambled leisurely tilting her head from side to side. She was obviously enjoying the music. Not for long. From what he'd gathered about her:

Name: Christine Danvers Occupation: Hotel Manager Age: 28 No children Divorced 2 times currently engaged.Shame. She was a very attractive lady. He hoped he would get a chance to fuck her before slitting her throat. He forced himself to focus on the task at hand. Killing her was the priority.

Unexpectedly she turned around and their eyes met briefly. Years of experience kept his expression blank. Although his heart skipped a few beats. The prey must never see the predator until the last moment. He had walked too close, only an amateur would make such a mistake. The Slitter controlled his breathing, his pace was the same. She turned back around, obviously she hadn't recognized him. He had been tracking her for past seven days.
