In the woods the police found several casings from a nine mm pistol. They dug out several bullet slugs from sourounding trees that missed the couple. On their bodies the coronor found traces of gun powder which indicated the gun was close to their heads.when it was fired. During the autopsy the cornor also found traces of minerals and drugs in their system They found three sets of shoe prints close to the odies. They had .plaster casts made of them. They also found tire tracks. They made plaster indentations of the tire tracks. They still hadn't gotten results from any of the plaster indentations..
In the couple's house the detectives couldn't find the drugs that was in their system. meaning someone drug them then took them to the woods and killed them there then covered their bodies. The police forensic team dusted the tree limbs for finger prints and was waiting for the FBI data base to see if there was a match on the prints The FBI said it might take a couple of weeks to identify the prints.
