In no time detective Gibson noticed Mitten was upstairs and laying on the windowseat's cushion. One night afterworking long hours detective came home and went to bed not thinking about feeding Mitten and Muffin. She was woke up with Mitten standing on her stomach softly meowing as if she was talking to her. She headed downstairsand saw that the basement door was closed then she heard someone in the baement .
She snuck quietly back up to her purse and took her gun out and preceeded to check out the basement when she noticed Muffin was missing. When she opened the door and yelled if you don't come upwith your hands where I can see them I will shoot to kill.She heard a woman's voice yell please I can explain and I need your help. The young child stepped out of the shadow of darkness into the light . Detective Gibson could see that she was a teenager about the age of sixteen.
The teenager slowly came up the stairs. She asked why did you break into my place. Mitten came running and jumped up onto the girl Mitten was purring loadly. Detective Gibson was happy to see her. The teenager started crying into Mitten's fur. She explained that the missing woman was her older sister.was taking care of her cat for her while their parents was in the hospital.
