The Leaves Tell the Story - Page 8/21

Zelda Cooper told detective Gibson and McGill that when her older sister didn't show up at the hospital after work to be at the hospital she knew something was wrong. She only had twentysome dollars on her and didn't drive by herself. She had only a driver's permit. When the hospital wouldn't let her stay at the hospital without paying so much a night she decided to sleep in the family's van then took her shower in a closed part of the hospital.

Detective McGill visited the hospital. The hospital staff informed her that Zelda had been there daily with her parents and the older sister who was there for a couple of days. They just assumed she was busy or didn't live in the city and went home. Detective Allison McGill knew that something had happened to Emily.Allison found the closed off area of the hospital that the teenager told them about and there was a good size shower room in that section.

Construction workers using saws, hammers, and other tools didn't hear the water running. Detective McGill wonder what else they might have heard. They did a walk around the hospital's parking lot and garage and found Emily's car just like Zelda had told them so that meant Emily had two cars just as the land lord and their records indicated. Emily had came here and then vanish without a trace from here.
