Just the thought of that day’s events still made her uneasy and she cleared her mind. A smile played on her mouth as a plan started to form.

Why didn’t I think of it sooner? So easy, yet doable. Sweet revenge. High time Shaun paid for letting me take the blame. Weasel! He didn’t even defend me against my father’s rage. A laugh of delight bubbled over her lips.

Oh, he is going to get what’s coming to him, she thought. He will never expect me to pitch up at the lecture hall. Especially not with new guards being inducted and all.

With a light heart, she put her feet onto the pond-like floor. Pushed up and padded towards the bathroom without light. Entering through hidden doors in the stonewall. Her reflection in the mirror made her stop.

“Ugh, why couldn’t I have straight hair like mother?” she asked annoyed and continued over plants and rock-like stepping-stones.

A sunken rock pool nestled in the centre. Opening the hot water tap. Water cascaded over the rocks like a waterfall. Bubble bath stood on the edge. Pouring a cap full, she ran the lilac scented goo under it. Bubbles formed quickly, rising with the level of the water.
