He turned to leave. “Alive.” Sighing and looked over his shoulder. When their eyes met for the last time, he proceeded. “You must leave now! The battle is about to commence.”

Before his friend could say more, Roan dashed towards the battlefield like a lamb to the massacre. Focused and ready to ensure the future of his people and humans.

With a heavy heart, Joseph turned and headed for the outskirts of the Basque County. In the distance, hissing and thunder sounded in the cloudless sky.

Slowing, he turned towards his home for the last time.

Suddenly the task bore down on him like a mountain. Willing himself to leave, he sprinted into the unknown. I will not fail you. Your death will not be in vain. I swear it. He silently vowed.
