A Simple Life of a Teenage Boy - Page 31/97

The afternoon is bright with the brilliant sun in the sky. The sun came up bringing us new hopes and a brand new day. The winds are soft and the days are warm and clear. The grasses are green and the flowers are about to bloom in April. There's a soft tune playing in my room. Spring is on our door.

One year passed so quickly. I've changed and everything's changed. Now, I'm in high school. I've quit being a VC and I no longer play basketball. My thinking's changed. I feel like I'm more matured now. My ranking slipped and now I've joined extra classes. I've been warned and suspended many times from the school for my failure in completing school tasks. These days are so boring and I don't like to do anything. I've become lazy and I don't like to go school anymore. Jenny is still a captain and she is as beautiful as ever. We're now in same class. Seeing her is so painful which is why I don't attend the classes. After her final words, I didn't speak with her. Many times she tried to speak with me but I didn't care. I went away from her as far as I could. I still don't know why I'm running away from her. Am I so coward to not even face her? But how could I after hearing such agonizing words from her. Day by day I tried to run away from her but she still tried to talk with me. I still don't know why I am going through this. Perhaps, I didn't want to be just friends. The only thing that I do these days is just eat and sleep. I'm facing added responsibilities at home too. I have to look after my home and help my sister in her studies. I've been scolded by my parents for not attending the classes regularly. Many times, I bunk the classes and go somewhere else with the local friends.
