A Simple Life of a Teenage Boy - Page 38/97

I called Ron and my other band mates to gather at a local place before performing in the pub. There's a small café like place called Heaven which is our most common spot for gathering. We gather there and decide the songs which we want to practice. So, before performing at the real event, we went there to discuss about our performance and to gain some spirit. James and Jenny too went there. Aaron and Ron tuned their guitar, King took out his monster looking bass and I took out my drum sticks. And we headed towards the pub to perform as if we were some sort of rock stars.

The sky is clear with some bright stars and a crescent moon. The wind is cold and the town's hustle and bustle is shrinking. It's getting darker and the city lights are getting brighter. My body is aching and my hand is tired. We performed quiet well albeit there were huge audience. But we were there to show our talent. We played with all our hearts so the people who were watching us didn't get bored. Next thing is that I spoke with Jenny. Before our performance and even after that we talked like we were normal friends. We were in the same class so we made fun of different class teachers and even some of our class mates. I was happy with the performance so I didn't have any lovey-dovey thoughts in my mind. We talked casually and somehow became friends. But it was all due to James who tried to make us friends. He was close with us so he may have considered us being friends. He knew that I was a shy guy so he tried to push me. But what I wanted was not just being her friend but even more than that which was a bit impossible for me.
