A Simple Life of a Teenage Boy - Page 47/97

Yeah, it's a new day and a new year. But the world is the same. The sky is still blue and the clouds remain high above and the birds are still flying high. Days ends and nights passes by. The world is full of mystery. It is only us who are changing. I can't believe how fast the time is flowing. Seasons starts and season ends. Sometime it's cold and sometime it's hot, sometime it's wet and sometime it's dry. It is the daily schedule of our life. We are bound to experience all these things ever since we were born. People changes as time changes. A child will no longer be a child after he grows up and gets old someday. It is the rule of nature that no one can neither stop nor change. And we are the fellow followers of this nature's part. Similarly, after we are born we are surrounded by all sort of things like love, hatred, anger, lies and happiness. And it's us who decide what comes upon us.

I'm 18 years old now and many things occurred in these past years. I sometimes felt helpless and sometime I was rejoiced with happiness. Now, I'm carrying a heavy responsibility for my family as well as my own life. My small sister has grown up big now. She no longer comes after me running for asking chocolates. It is hard for me to understand her better these days. She is going through the same phase that I was in. And it is also a phase where most of them develop a new feeling called "Love". I fear for her because that same feeling made me cry once a while ago and troubled me every single day. She doesn't know a thing about my love life and how her brother was blind and mad in love with a girl whom he never knew well. I don't want her to feel the same so every time I see her, I try to cheer her and try to know her better. Thinking back, someday I was suffocating through sadness and sometime I was glad for some small reason. I wasn't expecting anything from her but to just talk with her. But I failed many times.
