A Simple Life of a Teenage Boy - Page 55/97

The day was full of fun. I met some old friends. And the party was amazing. Few of my friends got totally drunk and were acting funny. They spoke gibberish and were out of control. They forced me to drink Vodkas and Beers but I refused. I was completely sober. I just drank soft drinks and ate chips. Paul and I were extremely hungry so we ate some few burgers as well. Paul is also one of my old school friend. He is a tall, charismatic boy and a good friend of mine. Meanwhile, the party was loud. For an instant I just feared that it would go as crazy as in movie "Project X" But we had control of ourselves. After a moment of ruckus inside the banquet, we decided to cut birthday cake and wish for him. So we all gathered and wished Aaron his successful years ahead. He was leaving shortly for his degrees in music at Paris.

It's dark now and I returned home late. Everyone asked me why I was late and I didn't hesitate and told them everything. I had told them that I would go for a friend's party and promised to return home shortly. But it was a bit late and I was in such a rush and didn't have enough time to explain before. After Aaron's birthday party, some few boys were extremely drunk and we decided to leave them to their respective places. It was the reason of being late. And I didn't lie and spoke without hesitation. They believed my words. I didn't eat anything because my stomach was full of all sorts of foods and what not. I was totally tired and wanted to sleep as fast as I can. A long journey from Geneva and the party afterwards totally exhausted me. I was going to fall asleep but suddenly the image of Jenny appeared in my mind. I remembered what they have told earlier about the girl who was transferring in middle of semester. I prayed to God that it would be her. I had never devoted so much to God before.
