A Simple Life of a Teenage Boy - Page 64/97

Jennifer, the girl that transferred around December called me in the college ground separately. She seemed curious to know me. Not because I scored good marks. But she had other reasons to tell me. The first thing she asked me was not my name or any other details. The first thing that came out of her mouth was, "How did you know about Jenny?" I stumbled for a second. It came all of a sudden and I was surprised to know that she knows her. Is she her friend or what? - I thought at first. But as she began to speak I couldn't believe her words. She didn't tell me how she knew her but first asked me about how I knew her. Then I told everything from how I saw her at the entrance day to how I went blind in love with her. She listened carefully to every single words I spoke of. After I told everything I knew about Jenny from falling in love to how she left me suddenly, she said something strange. When she began to speak every words coming out of her mouth awestruck me. She told me that Jenny is her younger sister. I couldn't believe her for a second. I thought,"Is it for real?" Then the second thing she told me was, "She didn't leave you, she had other reasons which made her leave." I didn't understand anything. First she told me that she was her younger sister and next was that she didn't leave me on purpose. All I knew back then was that James had asked her to go with him. And I didn't know anything about how she disappeared so suddenly. I wanted to ask more but she didn't tell me anything. She left after hearing my story and just saying those confusing words. All she told me was those two things. My mind was totally out. I couldn't think anything.
