The police interviewed the man who drove the truck then released him saying that he wasn't a suspect anymore even though he had no alibi..A couple of people snucked into town and camped at the free camping site. They visited the funeral home the evening before as the town was at the girl's visiation service. After the visitation was over and people were leaving they snucked over and paid their respects to the girls.

The next day the two people again was sitting in a little room close to the girls behind a partition. They snucked out as the funeral was ending. They arrived at the cemetery before the long funeral procession arrived. They saw the funeral staff take the caskets out of the hearse. They hugged each other and even cried on each other's shoulders They remained hidden without sight then paid their respects when everyone left the cementery. While Mr. and Mrs Mansford was at church Sunday two people took out the man in the truck and his group of men. When the police arrived to the scene It had been a gun battle that the police had never seen before.

​ After church on Sunday the police questioned the girl's grandparents. They had an alibi. Everyone at church admitted that they were there and did not leave. In fact their car had been blocked in.When the couple got back home they noticed a note in their kitchen with a bouquet of flowers. They knew exactly who had been there the same two people who had left the girls in safe hands while they were keeping americans safe as undercover ATF agents There was only one person in Washington DC that knew who they really was. Someone in Washington DC found out and informed others leading to their girl's death.
