A Love To Remember (Her Memory) - Page 8/20

This is it for today. I have to rest soon or else I will catch cold. Goodnight beautiful world. Bring me a brilliant day ahead.

Mom touched her skin and looked in the mirror. Maybe she was sad because dad had written so many beautiful things about her face. If I compare the way he described in his journal and now, they are completely different except her eyes. Her eyes are still the same as he had described. But her cheeks are no longer fleshy and her voice is soft. It's obviously because she got old. At a certain point we all lose our precious muscles and smooth skin. Maybe she doesn't even remember how her face was back then. After a pause, I began to read it out loud. It was getting late so I decided to read one last page.

11th December

Ooohhh!! It's shivering cold and even my hands are frozen. It's been a long time since I've written in this book. There wasn't anything special lately so I didn't feel like writing these past few months. But today I have something interesting to tell.

From the moment I saw Rylee, I knew that she was gonna be my close friend. We shared some never forgetting moments. We argued, we fought, we laughed, we yelled and all these led to making us close friends or even best friends. Though the way she speaks is still mean and cold, I've been habituated to listen. We would be together for most of the time in school and even in our home. But one thing I was surprised was that this girl has got some serious stomach. Her ultimate desire for food never goes down even after eating a whole lot of foods. She is an ever hungry girl. For food she would do anything and accept anything.
