Jimmy saw them drive off in the direction of Quiet meadows. He used the phone in the horse manager's office. He called the Malachi's house. Aunt Norma answered the phone. she told him that Damien and Rosemary was at the city hall. He told her everything he knew. She opened the animals gates then turned off her lights and used the phone that connects her house to the main house . Lucas, Norman, and Samatha all knew how to shoot they had their very own rifles.
Samatha told Nolan to take Sidney to the storm shelter. She instructed them to lock the door on the inside and not to come out unless she texted them with their secret password. She watched them go in and then tried the door.She went back into the big house. They preceeded to aunt Norma's little house. They waited in the dark. Samatha text her mother that quite a few cars had just parked in the wooded area and a bunch more had drove by the house headed for town.
A litle bit later they heard gun shots in town and the men in one of the cars parked in the woods came walking by with their guns pointed to shoot whoever they saw. The gun battle didn't last long and the men who had walked by the little garden house didn't fire their firearms. They were yelling for some kind of help but no one came out to help them.
