Stand Your Ground - Page 7/25

Both Rosemary and Samatha decided to take a fourtyfive minute airplane ride to see aunt Norma. Upon arriving at the senior citizen apartment complex they were told that their aunt had fallen on hard times and she had barricaded herself into her little apartment and wasn't letting anyone in Rosemary and Samatha both knew she was scared and didn't have anywhere to go. They had the police to let them talk to her.

At first she didn't believe them but Samatha talking through the door was telling her the trips and other happenings when she was little and came for vacations even times with uncle Howard. Aunt Norma remembered the same times and knew it was really them and opened the door. Rosemary paid her rent up to date. She called Damien with the news. He said the little garden house would be ready for aunt Norma. They packed the few things she had left and mailed them to Quiet Meadows and caught the next plane back home..

The plane ride gave Aunt Norma and Rosemary the time to reminisced over earlier years The last time Aunt Norma was back here in the midwest part of the country was when the Malachi's lived in Kansas City and their fifteen year old son was born. They named him Norman after his aunt.
