Maggie continued to hear rumors that other parts of the midwest was being affected. She heard about a well known song writer's estate was closing their doors to the public. She piicked up the phone and in a matter of minutes she was on the phone with a woman that was some years older than herself confirming the closing of his estate which now housed not only his house but also a hotel and a museum.
She told Maggie that she hated to close it all up but the cost of the upkeep on the estate and someone had cut a lot of the roses bushes down so there would be a skeleton security team.to make sure no one could vandalized the property again. Maggie told the woman she was sorry somebody would vandalize the garden. She told the woman on the phone that roses was her favorite flower.
Maggie told her she had wanted to visit the estate on a day where she could get a rose.but hadn't been able to. Maggie asked her for permission to use her name and distant cousin's names for her twins. They talked few more minutes about his career and the beautiful gospel music he wrote. Maggie told her that he was her mother's and grandmother's favorite song writer.
