A String Of Murders - Page 13/16

Kim situated the pillows together in one spot on a table then the two lamps next to the pillows, then the two black gloves next to the lamps. She examined the gloves two right handed gloves meaning the murderer more likely to be right handed. It would have been bettter if the murderer was left handed because that would decrease their suspect list tremendously. No wonder they were getting fraustrated with this case. Not much more any of them could do.

Kim had the next day off. While walking Duke on the dog trial in the park she saw one of the cold case file detectives talking to someone. They seemed to be pre occupied when he looked up and saw Kim. He motioned her to come over. He introduced her to his neighbor. When the neighbor left Kim asked him when he had moved to the new apartment complex. He informed Kim that he hadn't but his cousin had . It was a lifetime to get into that apartment complex. In reality the neighbor was a suspect in the cold case he was assigned to.

Kim asked him if his gut instinct believed that she was the murderer. His reply was yes I think she kidnapped the child then killed him. He told Kim tht he would stake his life on it and his cousin told him he could stay there as long as he needed to. Within a few days another child was abducted and that woman was ID'd as the kidnapper so she was followed by the team to a storage shed. By the time the team got a search warrant signed by a judge the newest victim of this woman was beaten but was still alive.
