He told Cassandra he knew a friend who was a private eye and see what he might be able to find talking to people who didn't want to talk to the police for one reason or another and the private eye could even do social media search which he simply didn't have time being a dective and then a security guard after hours to support his two sons alone. Their mother and his wife had died a few months before in an accident

Detective Beagon recieved a call from his friend informing him that he could not find a Jeffery Scott on social media which was strange for a young man of his age and professional background. Detective Beagon sent him a photo and was waiting to hear back from him. In the meantime Cassandra took a load of clothes down to wash and overheard Jeff was in a closed room yelling they got to die for what they did to you dad like he was yelling at another person. Cassandra hid in a closet to keep him from seeing her when he came out.She went out the basement door and around where she could see in the window of that particular room. No one else was there.

She snucked back in through the back door to the kitchen and was heading up the backstairs when she heard his foot steps coming toward the kitchen from the front part of the house. she turned around as if she was coming down the stairs when he came into the kitchen. They looked each other in the eyes and said hello to each other when Saddie came out into the hall with Frenchie.
