“With me, I was always different, I was far smarter than an average child, I skipped too many grades in school, I then went on to becoming a doctor, as you mentioned as immortals we attract a lot of unwanted attention, and I have never been one for attention, so I used to stay hidden, with my face covered, I would make myself as unappealing as possible. I stayed out of the way of anyone who would notice me, which was hard because when I was at work I had to wear a uniform and because of my title, many patients would try to arrange their sons or grandsons, or brothers and in some cases themselves for me, when I got my abilities it was overwhelming, I thought there was something seriously wrong with me, it made me hate myself further. I saw myself as a freak, so I didn’t use my abilities at all even though at times all I wanted to do was make myself invisible and that was very possible, I made myself as human as possible, when Kale saw me at the supermarket I was somehow drawn to him, I think it’s because he is like me, he followed me for 5 months, watching me to see if I was like him, even he couldn’t tell, because of the restraint I used, that and the fact that I looked different, eventually he approached me, and told me what I am, and presto here I am.”
