They greet him back very formally. Then he looks to me. Ian explains that I would like to enroll in their school, he introduces himself to me as Principal Warner, and he looks at me and says.
“This way to the testing ground.”
We all follow after him, we walk until we reach a pair of massive metal double doors.
Mr. Warner retrieves a set of silver keys from the pocket of his pants. A quick turn of the keys and the doors open to reveal an enormous room. This room is the largest I’ve ever been in. The room is completely devoid of color, everything from the wall to ceiling is coated in white, and the cabinets lining the wall are white as well. There is another door on the opposite side of the room.
“This is called a testing room. We can measure some of the abilities of our students here. And it is safe. Nothing we do in here can escape the confines of the room. We will be able to see which classes you belong to by discovering the ability you have.”
They seem to tell that I am a little confused so Kale tries to explain.
