“I can’t wait to she her ass get kicked. I hope Alicia annihilates her.” She laughs to her friend as she does a fist pump. Like seriously, what did I ever do to her? Do I have to have perfect hearing and listen to this damn conversation, I tune it out. As Mr Weber calls my name, Ms. Morgan, Ms Banner you’re up, Alicia has a huge ass grin on her damn face. She is very excited to make a show of me in front of the damn class.
Kale quickly jogs up to me and throws his arms around me, as he embraces me tightly almost to comfort me, damn he smells so good, then he whispers in my ear
“Don’t worry Laya, you’ll do fine. Good luck” it’s the first time he has ever hugged me, and it’s all I have in me not to ask him if I can stay in his arms forever.
