Until Sunrise - Page 45/75

“I missed you.” She said quietly.

He nodded, “Me too.”

“Quiet night huh?”

“Yeah, it is.” A tiny smile flickered at the corner of her lush mouth. She turned and led the way to a pair of arm chairs positioned together in the backyard. She sat in one of the chairs, it was a graceful move, and it stole his breath. She gestured with a small, regal sweep of her hand for him to join her.

Neither of them spoke for a while, they stared at the clear sky. The slight breeze brought his scent to her, it was like some kind of an exotic flower.

“Your scent is so feminine.” She said.

“Really?”

“Never mind, just a silly joke.” She responded. “Why can’t you sleep, what kept you up?” she continued. Her voice was low and pleasing. He turned to look at her. Her eyes were glowing in the dark and her lips were soft, full and tempting. She was a prize every red blooded man would compete for. He saw the strong woman in her, she would make him a beautiful home full of upwardly mobile and smart kids. He planned to ignore her question but then he opened his mouth and partial truth came out. “I have debts to pay. I’m thinking of ways to pay them, maybe become a sperm donor.” She chuckled for a bit then saw the seriousness on his face.
