“What will you do now?” he asked.

“I will create a scandal if need be.” She turned and Jerome saw fear in her eyes. “I’m afraid he’s going to leave me.” She dropped her hands to the side. She turned and walked to the table, she grabbed her coffee mug and gazed at Jerome.

“He shouldn’t have come here.”

“I think you should blame your uncle for controlling everyone. He’s manipulative and selfish.” The whole will thing had been distasteful to Angie but there was nothing she could do about it, all she wanted was the money.

“This whole thing is messed up. I hated my cousin so much and now she has taken my man.”

Jerome looked at Angie’s eyes, her beautiful pouty mouth, perfectly flawless skin and hair like caramel. Desire settled in the pit of his groin.

“You need something else in your life to talk about.” He walked toward her, determined and ready to give her that something else. “I have a plan.”

“What is the plan?” Angie said as she sat down.

“It involves framing Ricky and I don’t know if you will like it.” Jerome knew it was his turn to be the calm, sane one.

She reached down to the table to pick up her coffee mug again then leaned back against the chair. How would such a beautiful home feel like prison?
