Ritwik was worried for her but he had already taken an appointment with a reputed gynaecologist for the morning.
The gynaecologist checked her and even did an ultrasound. The baby was on the smaller side but fine. She prescribed some medicines which would ease Myra,s morning sickness and help her to digest food. She also prescribed some vitamins to be taken on time.
Ritwik dropped her to her office after the appointment . He was going to Bangalore for two days to wind up his work for the coming weekend.
Their wedding was to be a court wedding with a small luncheon after that. Only a few close friends were invited. His step mother had also not been informed because he did not want any disruptions in his wedding. Moreover he had never been close to her. Myra,s parents were to be invited though.
The next few days were filled with work for Myra. Her sister was on her honeymoon so she had asked her parents not to inform Jiya otherwise her honeymoon would be spoiled. Ritwik called her from Bangalore asking her if she needed any help for the wedding.
She wished that he would behave more romantically but she knew that they were marrying for the baby and not for love. A day before their wedding ceremony her parents arrived and Ritwik also came back from Bangalore. Her parents informed her that Ritwik had personally gone to Jaisalmer to ask her hand in marriage. He had spent an entire day with them convincing them that he loved her and would take good care of her after marriage. He had also sent his private jet to bring them from Jaisalmer to Delhi. Her parents were very much impressed by his attitude and had given their blessings.
