More than a best friend - Page 87/91

Next day being a Sunday Renu Masi had lot of weekend erands to be completed Neha realised that she prepares the base of all her curried on Sunday and stores it in the deep freezer for the whole week. She also realised that here canned chickpeas and blackeyed beans are available because of which making chole and rajmah is way more easier than what it was in India, No need to chopp tomatoes as everyone uses canned pulps.

Neha had slowly started realising the lifestyle diffence in the two countries. She also noticed that she has to do her own laundry, then put the clothes in the drier, unlike india how we keep i on a clothes line to dry. Later remove it from the drier and Iron them herself.

Renu Masi finishes her curry base by 10:30 and by 11 they both left to hit the shopping malls, on the way Masi explained to her how there are different categories of malls some have expensive shops, some have mid range and some have cheaper ones, for a student it is always suggested to go to the mid range and cheaper ones, She realised that Masi buys a lot of stuff in bulk to save on the expenses, Masi advised her to do the same for long life products if she has sufficient storage space in her room. She shopped for a duvet, duvet cover, pillow, a couple of covers, some grocery for cooking. She was adviced to check the utensils availible in the accomodation and then buy more for cooking. It was lunch time Masi took neha to a nearby eatery and Neha was bambozelled by the rates as she was converting everything to India currency, Masi advised her to stop doing so as it will make her living in USA very diffiicult.
