Saturday was always a light day for work so she decided to take a day off and visit her school friend in delhi. She called Navya who invited her to spend the weekend with her.
It was lovely catching up with Navya. Navya was a teacher in kindergarden and her anecdotes of toddlers cheered up Cia. They went out for a movie in the evening and had dinner at a nearby restaurant. Next morning after breakfast Cia decided to take a taxi to the cottage . Her cellphone rang. It was Jay. “Jay why are you calling me on Sunday? Do you want more samples or what?”
“No, Cia I was in Delhi today and would be going back in the evening so if you are nearby I can pick you and we can go together. The way to the cottage is isolated and I don,t eat young girls for lunch so you are safe with me.”
“Ok Jay I’ll be ready whenever you are. At present I am staying in D Block Vasant Kunj with my friend.”
“For beautiful ladies I’m always ready. Tell you what I will pick you from the main gate at 4 pm.”
He was on time. He had to be. Jay had no work in Delhi . He had wanted to apologise for his behavior on Friday and he wanted to spend some time with Cia so he had built up this excuse .
